Overview

This mobile app connects homeowner/ tenant with qualified handyman for various home repairs. The platform works by allowing customers to submit a job request, specifying the type of work needed and then matches with available handymen who have necessary skills and experience. The platform provides tools for communication between user and handymen such as messaging and call. The goal of this project is to create a convenient and easy to navigate and use, responsive mobile platform. 

PROJECT GOALS

#1 Streamlined UX 

To create a simple and intuitive interface that allow handymen receive customers' requests. 

Choose who to send quote and contact.

#2 Fair Competition 

To ensure all handymen have an equal opportunity to succeed and create a positive user experience.

#3 Communication  

To facilitate real-time communication between customers and handymen, allowing them to easily discuss their needs and coordinate their schedule.  

CHANLLENGES

#1 Simplify Registration 

Lengthy registration can cause handymen drop-off. Streamline the registration process by only asking essential information and eliminating any unnecessary steps. 

#2 Easy-to-use Interface

Handymen are not tech savvy, the platform needs to be simple and easy-to-use. Allowing handymen to receive job and send quotes.
